This was amazing, beautiful and truly heartbreaking at times. Lucifer forced to live like a beast, then as a brutalized slave, then finding love and trust at last. This is very high quality Biblical/historical fiction and it feels accurate to the period of ancient Babylon and Sumeria. I particularly appreciate the inclusion of the Temple of Inana as that above all else really shows that people where much more at ease with sexuality back then. It seems that humans have only built up absurd layers of what is “acceptable” and “proper” in the thousands of years since those times and it has caused nothing but problems for most cultures, AND WE CALL THAT PROGRESS! What a joke.

Part 2: Halqu Ulu

I am utterly fascinated by this story. I am eager for part 3.

I'm unashamed to say that I binged all 4 chapters last night instead of sleeping like I should have. Once I read one, I just couldn't stop! I like how you brought H. back into the story, too--I was wondering what happened to him in ch 3. This is a lovely stopping point, but I definitely wouldn't mind reading more about dear Lucifer! What an epic story!

I absolutely adored this story! Dear author, I honestly agree with the other comments, you should definitely try to get published if you are not already, your writing is very vivid and catching. I loved the complexity of the story, the character growth and the different times described in each arc. This is definitely one of the stories I will come back to read time and again... Even if it made me cry several times every arc, especially in the last two. Thank you for sharing it.
